Beartooth Highway Opens To State Line

The Montana Department of Transportation announced the Beartooth Highway is open to the Montana state line as of Friday, May 22nd.

Travel through to Cooke City is scheduled to open May 29th.  Crews have been diligently working for the past month to get U.S. Highway 212 open for travelers between Red Lodge, Montana, and the state line.

The opening of the Beartooth Highway allows access to amazing mountain views, great skiing, and other outdoor activities. Watch the video below to see crews working to clear the road.
