When flying, it always makes sense to bring something (a book, music, etc.) in order to pass the time. Well, passengers on a flight to Bucharest got one better when a self-described “Balkan-Klezmer-Gypsy-Punk-Super-Party-Band” staged an impromptu concert during a delay.

While waiting for their flight to depart, passengers on Air Canada flight AC 876 witnessed a jam session by members of Toronto’s 14-piece ensemble the Lemon Bucket Orkestra.

The group played four full songs while the plane sat on the tarmac. While this sort of frenetic, accordion- and brass-based music may not be best for a headache-inducing flight delay, we sure appreciate the band’s attempt to entertain passengers.

The group, by the way, was flying to Romania as part of their ‘Balkan Station 2012 Tour.’ Get your tickets now, or just enjoy the clip above.
