Are Montanans Willing To Drive Hours For This Popular Food Item?
Soon, one of the most popular and sought-after food franchises will open multiple new locations here in Montana.
Billings and Missoula folks can expect long lines when Chick-fil-A opens their doors and drive-thru to serve those cities. The Georgia-based company has become insanely popular over the last several years, and when you ask folks what they'd like to see come to their town, the answer is often Chick-fil-A.
There's a popular phrase that goes, "pick one thing and do it better than anyone else." It seems that has kind of been the philosophy for the chicken empire. Chick-fil-A does chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and chicken salads. Not to mention they are famous for their waffle fries, milkshakes, and Chick-fil-A sauce.
The Missoula Chick-fil-A is scheduled to open on November 10th, while the Billings location looks to open at the end of this year or the beginning of next. As mentioned, the lines will be long as people show up to try it for the first time or remember why they fell in love with it in the first place.
So are Montanans that live hours away from Billings or Missoula willing to make the drive for a chicken sandwich?
While I'm sure there are some that will, I think most folks will simply swing by if they happen to be in one of those towns. One word of caution, however; Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays, so keep that in mind. I would hate for someone to drive all that way only to find out they were closed.
Chick-fil-A isn't the only franchise that Montanans would like to see more of. Other popular choices include Cafe Rio and In-N-Out Burger. Is there a franchise that you would love to see make its way to Montana? If so, which one is it? Send us a message on our app and let us know.
