Are Montanan’s Doing Their Part? 4 Ways To Be A Good Human
Today we celebrate this beautiful ground we walk on. I think some of us forget or take for granted how crazy and awesome this earth is.
There are so many ways to give back to earth and our community all at the same time.
I personally like to check out local nursery's around town. I had the opportunity to check out one of Bozeman's favorite nursery's the day before they open.
Lawson's Nursery. With a soft opening today, Earth Day, you can get all your indoor AND outdoor plants and succulents all in one stop. Make a stop this weekend and get all the newest inventory.
The hard work and dedication that goes into getting greenhouses ready for the season are incredible. Long hours put in by staff and volunteers, even the pups get their work in.
Another way to help with celebrating Earth Day is to use less electricity. Maybe today you skip the hours of TV and read for an hour instead.
You can go through your closet and put all the clothes, toys, and household items you are not using and have not been using in a box and donate them. It will clear up the house, and get you feeling more organized.
You can plant a tree or at least make a plan to plant a tree. A really easy way to make sure that you hold yourself responsible for planting a tree is to bank online with First Security Bank.
If you are already with them, and you are NOT paperless, just let them know that you would like to be. When you go paperless, they will plant a tree on your behalf through the National Forest Foundation.
Happy Earth Day Montana. Let's do our best today, for ourselves, for our future, and of course for our Earth.
