Sure, you get family and close friends presents at Christmas. But what about other people who share your life during the coarse of the year? From what I could find, many etiquette experts suggest that you tip or get a gift for the following people:

  • Hairdresser
  • Mailman
  • Garbage Collector
  • Paper Delivery person
  • Dry Cleaner
  • House Keeper/Cleaner
  • Senior Care Giver
  • Babysitter
  • Daycare Provider
  • Teacher

Now, besides the money this will take, who has the time to shop for all these people? I barely have time to get my wife and son their gifts. Seriously, it's become a full-time job now just to get your Christmas shopping done.

What do you think? Should we feel obligated to get gifts for people outside of our families at Christmas? Email me and tell me what you think, and we'll talk about it on the XL Morning Show!
