Bozeman Is Officially The New Home Of Major Western Design Show
Western style is everywhere in Montana. It’s part of our way of life and reflects the true spirit of Big Sky Country. You won’t find much coastal decor here, and that suits us just fine. If you love western design, there’s an event in August you should check out.
The Western Design Conference Exhibit + Sale is moving to Bozeman. After originating in Cody, Wyoming, and then being held for 18 years in Jackson Hole, it’s moving to Montana. The event is well-known for western-inspired art, fashion, luxury home design, and brings creators from all over. The 2026 event will be held August 6-9th at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.
This four-day event is known for bringing together top artisans, designers, architects, and plenty of shoppers. You’ll find over 100 selected makers offering custom furniture, fine jewelry, high-end fashion, and handcrafted home goods. The event starts with a preview party and runway show, featuring standout pieces and a live auction to support artists.
“This move to Bozeman reflects the evolution of the West’s design economy,” says Allison Merritt, Executive Director of WDC.
There will be a preview party and fashion show on August 6th, if you want to get a firsthand look before the official doors open. Also, at the end of the event over $20,000 in awards will be given out to recognize outstanding talent in different categories.
With Bozeman being a hub for all things western lifestyle and only getting bigger, this event seems like a perfect match. So if you’re in the market for doing some designing or just want to peruse, mark it on your calendar.
