Less than 24 hours after it was announced that Ty Gregorak was leaving the Montana State Football team as its defensive coordinator, his replacement was already looking for a place to live here in Bozeman. Former Montana State Bobcat football coach and player Kane Ioane was named yesterday the new Bobcat defensive coordinator.

Ioane is a former four-time All-American who was a part of the Bobcat conference championship teams in 2002 & 2003. He was also a member of the Bobcat coaching staff from 2004 to 2016, before leaving to be a special assistant with the University of Washington.

"Kane was here for a long time with a high degree of success," Choate said in a release. "He has tremendous experience at this level, and clearly he's been deeply involved in every aspect of defensive game planning at the best defensive program in the Pac 12 in the last five years.

Can't wait for Bobcat football in 2019!
