This Popular Montana State Football Star To Host Football Camp
If you have a kid who loves football and wants to learn from a current legend, this is the camp for them.
Folks far and wide love Montana State Football. Last week, Montana State Football broke a record by selling out of their season football tickets for the first time in team history. The excitement of Montana State Football returning in a few months has fans, students, and athletes at an all-time high.
One player that helped elevate the program to national attention was former linebacker, Troy Andersen.
Troy Andersen is from Montana, born and bred out of Dillon, and had a legendary career at Montana State. He helped Montana State to multiple playoff appearances and an FCS National Championship appearance in 2021. He played quarterback and running back but shined as a middle linebacker.
After his career at Montana State, he was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the NFL Draft and immediately impacted special teams and defense.
Troy Andersen was the type of guy who loved helping out kids and growing the game of football, and that's why this news is incredible for Montana kids.
406 MT Sports reports that Troy Andersen will head to Montana to host a FREE football camp in his hometown of Dillon. The football camp will happen Wednesday, June 28th, at Beaverhead County High School and is open to boys and girls grades 1st through 8th.
Kids at the camp will get a t-shirt and can expect guest appearances from NFL and Montana State football players.
As a kid growing up who idolized football players, having someone who is a homegrown talent that all young Montanans can look up to and meet in person is a huge opportunity. It will be an instant core memory for your child.
