This Can’t Be The Most Popular Grocery Store in Montana
When it comes to grocery shopping, locals will choose a locally owned store over a franchise every time.
Eat This, Not That made a list of the Most Popular Grocery Store for Every State, and it's dead wrong for Montana. When it comes to popular grocery stores in our great state, I would like to think a locally owned store would be the pick for this list, but I am wrong according to this list.
According to Eat This, Not That, Montana's most popular grocery store is Rosauers Supermarket. Rosauers has four locations spread across Montana and are generally in the biggest cities.
Listen, Roasauers is a great supermarket. Their meat department is fantastic, and their beer selection is top-notch. The problem is, that the rest of the store usually has the highest prices in the Gallatin Valley.
If we were to poll Montanans and ask what their favorite or most popular grocery store is, we would think here in the Gallatin Valley, Town & Country Foods would be the top choice. Town & Country Foods has eight locations spread across Southwest Montana and are popular with locals.
Another store that I would think would be considered is Super 1 Foods. That grocery store has eight locations across Western Montana and rivals Safeway in many towns.
Plus, even Harvest Foods has more locations than Rosauers in the state of Montana.
Eat This, Not That should reevaluate the list and realize they might have made a mistake when it comes to popular grocery stores in Montana.
