Was it Glacier National Park? What about the Beartooth Highway? Lewis and Clark Caverns? Flathead Lake? While those locations are worthy of anyone's bucket list, none were on the list.

Yellowstone National Park is on the National Bucket List. Not only is Yellowstone the nation's oldest National Park, but it's one of the most popular with millions of people visiting each year. While Yellowstone is located in 3 different states, two of the more popular entrances (West Yellowstone and Gardiner) are on the Montana side.

What are the best times to go to Yellowstone National Park?

Yellowstone is open all year, but access is restricted during the fall, winter, and spring due to weather. Summer allows visitors to see the entire park, however, it's also the busiest time with tens of thousands of people visiting the park daily.
