I'm talking money. Stretching the paycheck. Incentives that truly work. Bozeman is rapidly running out of time to figure out how to allow us "normal folks" to live here. Let's get insanely creative and throw all the ideas on the wall before it's too late.
It's not a single family home but it's a pretty good chunk of land for less than $100K in Livingston. In this day and age, that seems to be a screaming deal in Montana real estate.
This property is a real gem and very interesting. Since the buildings are currently all leased out, I'm hoping the property won't change hands and turn into another steel and glass thing. The Chalet Business Park is anything but boring just the way it is.
If you found yourself with an extra $40 million bucks in your back pocket, and you wanted to spend it on real estate...would you pick the insanely huge home with 23+ acres or would you pick the 418+ acres of prime farmland?
After watching one of those remodeling TV shows, I decided to see what I could get in L.A. vs Bozeman as far as house prices go. I must say, I was a little surprised.
It might need a little polishing but WHO WOULDN'T want to live in a converted fire station? Just THINK of those garage parties you could have...I mean, the building is like, 60% garage. Plus it looks like there are old jail cells in the basement?
I'm not trying to start a political debate, we know that Montana is mostly red with the exception of a couple blue spots in Bozeman and Missoula, but seriously, are you better off now than a year ago?
