Arctic air will return to the region on Wednesday and will bring bitter cold temperatures along with periods of snow. Temperatures will begin falling Wednesday afternoon with the coldest air moving in Thursday and Friday. Temperatures during this time period will be 30 to 40 degrees below normal. In addition to the cold air...lights snow will develop on Wednesday and will continue through Friday. It will be breezy at times and drifting snow can be expected along with bitterly cold wind chill temperatures.

Hazardous travel conditions can be expected for Wednesday through Friday. Protection of young livestock may also be needed.
