Secret Montana Project Everyone’s Been Wondering About Revealed
The big tourist season has come and gone, but locals and travelers alike will soon have something new to look forward to in Paradise Valley. You’ve probably driven past the construction site along the Yellowstone River and wondered what was being built there. Well, mystery solved. The newest addition to Arthur M. Blank’s Montana portfolio, Auster At Dome Mountain, has just been announced, and it’s shaping up to be one seriously scenic spot to stay.
If you are unsure who Arthur M. Blank is, he is the owner of the Atlanta Falcons and co-founder of Home Depot, among many other accomplishments.
As we said, its along the Yellowstone River before you ever get to Gardiner and Auster At Dome Mountain will officially open for winter bookings in February 2026. They will be offering guests a place to live out their Montana fantasy or just enjoy a peaceful weekend getaway. The property will feature 20 cabins available year-round, ranging from cozy one-bedroom setups to larger three-bedroom lodges.
The place isn’t just about pretty views, though it has plenty of those. It’ll also include a main lodge with a restaurant, saloon, rooftop deck, pool, retail market, and even a drive-thru coffee stand. Visitors can explore on-site hiking trails, go horseback riding, or link up with local guides for fishing and rafting trips.
True to his philanthropic roots, the project also prioritizes sustainability and community, reusing original buildings for staff housing and supporting local nonprofits through the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, which has given over $137 million to Montana grants.

So if you’re dreaming of cozying up in a cabin or just curious about what’s been happening along the river, Auster at Dome Mountain is officially on the map.
