Rain and 75MPH wind gusts didn't stop Old Dominion from showing up for their fans Wednesday night (Aug. 17) in Virginia Beach.

The "Songs for Another Time" hitmakers were scheduled to perform a show in their home state when a storm forced a 90-minute delay to their set. While the rain soaked some of their gear, the guys decided to do an acoustic set for the fans who waited out the storm with them.

"VA BEACH! rain sucked! Soaked some gear - but around 9 we are gonna come do an acoustic show. Thx 4 hanging!" they wrote on Twitter.

Old Dominion members Matthew Ramsey, Brad Tursi, Trevor Rosen, Geoff Sprung and Whitt Sellers then played a stripped down set, which included previous No. 1 hit "Break Up With Him," "Snapback" and current single "Song for Another Time" from their debut album Meat And Candy, as well as several of the hits they wrote for other artists.

In addition to their own headlining shows, Old Dominion are currently opening for Kenny Chesney on his Spread the Love Tour, where they will return this weekend in New Jersey at MetLife Stadium. The band also recently released a nostalgic new music video which includes old video footage of the band members playing music as kids and first moving to Nashville.

“When we were writing this song it was all about seeing the end of the road ahead. It was about two people realizing their love isn’t going to be enough and the need to hold on to those last few moments,” the band posted on Facebook when the video was released.
