New Restaurant Offers Unique Montana Experience

A new restaurant recently opened at the 320 Guest Ranch south of Gallatin Gateway. McGill's Restaurant and Saloon opened for business in May and offers a unique experience to customers. The 320 Guest Ranch was built in 1898.

McGill's offers made-from-scratch food and an impressive wine and cocktail list. Wild game is included on their menu and they source locally and organic whenever possible.

Every week, McGill's Restaurant offers customers a one-of-a-kind experience.

Every Tuesday night through September 1, there is a pig roast. The event is open to the public and is on a first come, first serve basis. You get tons of fun and food: slow-roasted pulled pork sandwiches with a choice of two mouth-watering sides and dessert.

Local musicians also perform on Tuesday nights. It all happens on their outdoor deck, right next to the restaurant overlooking the mountain vistas and Buffalo Horn Creek. It happens every Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The cost is $20 for adults and $15 for children ages 3-12.

Every Wednesday through August 26, McGill's Restaurant hosts a Chuckwagon BBQ which includes a riverside BBQ with a trail ride or wagon ride.

Wednesday evenings during the summer you can take a 2-hour horseback or 20-minute wagon ride to dinner. On the menu is your choice of N.Y. strip steak or barbecued chicken, prepared on an open grill along the banks of the Gallatin River, complete with all the fixin’s. Finish the evening with s’mores around the campfire.

$120.00 per adult for 2-hour horseback ride and dinner; $100.00 per child 8-12
