4 New Businesses Opening In Downtown Bozeman
Bozeman is a busy town if you haven’t noticed. It feels like every time you turn around there’s another construction project, another business moving in, or another “coming soon” sign popping up on Main Street. Recently, the crew over at Bozeman Real Estate Group put together a list of new businesses that are officially here (or about to be). So let’s run through four of them that are making noise downtown right now.
First up, mär-ket-plās. This one just swung open its doors in the old Red Sugar Dim Sum spot (and if you’re a true OG local, you remember it even further back as Poor Richard’s). They offer custom floral designs, floral arrangements, holiday installations, and more! Basically the kind of shop that makes you want to host dinner parties just to show off what you found there.
Next, Stockman’s Bar. It’s moving into the west side of Schnee’s and being billed as a “classic western saloon and eatery.” From the sneak peeks, it’s clear they’re leaning hard into the Montana vibe. According to their most recent social media post they have the new neon sign up and their caption says "Almost go time!" We are really looking forward to this place opening up.
Third on the list, Aurore French Bakery. Locals in Four Corners already know and love them, and now they’ve opened a second location right in the Baxter Hotel, tucked between The Bacchus and Ted’s Montana Grill. Croissants within walking distance of Main Street? Yes, please.

And finally, Umvelt Bathhouse. This urban bathhouse, complete with saunas and a cold plunge, is set to open in October just south of the Lark Hotel. It’s a unique concept for Bozeman, and honestly, it sounds like the perfect way to recover from all that hiking, skiing, or just surviving tourist season.
