The Willow Springs Townhomes, developed by HRDC, will be available for purchase this month. The homes will be available to Bozeman families making a median wage.

In November of 2019, the average price for a single-family home in Bozeman was just over $514,000, while the average price for a condo/townhome was just over $362,000. The anticipated price for the HRDC's Willow Spring Townhomes is anticipated to be $217,322 for a two-bedroom townhome, and $243,227 for a three-bedroom townhome.

Each townhome comes with:

  • Single-car attached garage
  • Small yard

Priority will be offered to eligible households on the City of Bozeman affordable homeownership waitlist. To be added to the City of Bozeman affordable homeownership waitlist, households must take an 8-hour HUD-certified Homebuyer Education course and attend a one-on-one counseling session. HRDC offers the class throughout the year, including Monday and Tuesday, January 13 and 14, 2020 and Saturday, January 25, 2020.

The first round of purchases will be held from January 29, 2020 through February 5, 2020

"As housing prices continue to rise –out of reach for median wages –we aredeveloping homeownership opportunities for residents to meet the need. For a thriving local economy, we need long-term homes for many of our neighbors, like local business workers, teachers’ aides, social workers, service industry employees, the nonprofit sector, and city employees,” says HRDC Community Development Director, Tracy Menuez.
