More snow is expected starting tonight for the Bozeman area and the local mountains. A Winter Weather Advisory is going into effect this evening and we could wake up to an inch or snow of snow. Here is the official advisory from the National Weather Service:

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect from
9 PM this evening to 5 PM MST Tuesday... 

* locations... Battle Ridge Pass... Bozeman... Bozeman Pass...  
  Targhee Pass... West Yellowstone... Big Hole Pass... Chief Joseph 
  Pass... Dillon... Monida Pass... Ennis... Norris Hill... Raynolds 
  Pass... Twin Bridges.

* Snow level... 5500 feet lowering to valley floors this evening.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches in the valleys and
  3 to 7 inches in the mountains.

* Timing... light rain and snow will develop this afternoon... with
  the rain changing over to all snow this evening.

* Impacts... roads are expected to become icy and snow covered as
  temperatures fall into the 20s tonight. Visibility will be
  reduced to less than one mile at times.
