Growing up, My Dad used to take me to his hometown to visit my Grandparents. There wasn't much to do or see, but they had a little roadside burger place that he would go to as a kid. We would often stop by and grab a cheeseburger and a chocolate shake on our way out of town.

Oddly enough, that little burger place is still there, although it's only open part of the year.

That got me thinking about all of the wonderful places Montana has. Places that have been around for decades. While some are seasonal, they all have memories for the generations of families that have been loyal customers for years.

I'm talking about the type of place that might not be much to look at, but the food is fantastic and the memories around it are even sweeter than their best milkshake. The menus are never complex, and there's often a line you have to wait in, but it's always worth it.
