Montana Ranked In Top 5 For UFO Sightings.

Here's a question, have you ever seen something that is hard to explain? Something that you are afraid to tell others because they might think you're a little wacky? Could it be possible that you say a UFO?

It just so happens that today is World UFO Day and we are celebrating everything extraterrestrial, although we should state that "UFO" stands for Unidentified Flying Object, so just because you see something that doesn't have a logical explanation, doesn't mean its from outer space.

Here in Montana, we have a long history with UFOs.

First, it's a big state, so there is a lot of ground, or in this case, sky to cover. According to NUFORC data on the sight Yay Coloring Pages,  Montana ranks near the top for UFO sightings. In fact, the only states with more sightings (per capita) are Vermont and Washington.

The data break down looks like this:

• 9.6 sightings per 10 thousand people
• August 20th as the day you're most likely to see a UFO
• 10:06 pm as the time you're most likely to see a UFO

So, the big question is, have you ever seen a UFO? I can say that I have, as in I have seen an unidentified flying object, now was it from some other planet? I have no idea. Do I believe there is life on other planets? I do. I mean, space is huge, I just can't imagine that we are the only living things out there.

Plus, there have been some pretty impressive documented incidents of UFO's here in Montana. There's the Mariana Incident that happened in Great Falls in 1950, not to mention the Malmstrom AFB incident in 1967, both are well-documented.
