Are Montanans Dumb Enough To Fall For This?
Overall, Montanans are pretty intelligent people.
According to the facts and figures, the average IQ per Montanan is near the top, so we would assume that most Montanans wouldn't fall for some silly scheme. Of course, you know what they say about people who assume.

Most are aware that Montana was the first state to ban the TikTok app, which in return received worldwide coverage from media outlets. The reason is, that our state leaders didn't want the Chinese government to have access to our sensitive information. (although almost everything we buy is made there, but I digress)

However, for many, the social media app is not only addictive but a way of life. Many folks make their living on the app, and some of those "influencers" are bringing in large amounts of cash from it.
I've had the app on my phone for years now, and while I follow a few folks, I've never made a video and wouldn't have a clue how to post one. I just enjoy finding recipes and watching those gross pimple-popping things (yes, I'm weird)
However, it seems that since the Nationwide Ban which lasted about 10 hours for most of us, certain areas outside of Montana are not allowed to download the app. In fact, for much of Florida, as of the time of this writing, the app isn't found in the Apple App Store, so for those who deleted the app from their phone during the ban, well...they're hosed.
So a few entrepreneurs have taken advantage and decided to cash in.
How much are iPhones loaded with the TikTok App going for?
According to USA Today, folks down in the Sunshine State are listing iPhones with the TikTok app already loaded for thousands of dollars. One listening on Ebay had a new iPhone with the app downloaded going for 25 thousand dollars.
Yep, 25 grand.
Another listing was a little more reasonable and had an iPhone 15 Pro Max with TikTok on the phone listed at 10 thousand dollars. Oh, there were well over 1500 views on the ad.
Now once again, I would like to think that my fellow Montanans wouldn't be a part of these shenanigans, however, addiction is a crazy thing. I recently watched a video of grown adults sobbing over the loss of the app, so who knows? Maybe there are a few Montanans out there willing to pay big money.
If that's the case, you can bet a few Montanans are willing to sell them their phones.
