Montana State University Hosting First Ever Rail Jam on Campus
Bozeman hasn't seen an event like this in several years, and we can't wait to go and watch some incredible tricks.
Montana State University will be hosting its first-ever campus rail jam on Saturday, February 5th from 5 to 9 PM. Montana State University's Office of Student Engagement and Residence Hall Association is partnering up with Snow Bro to put on the rail jam event.
If you don't know what a rail jam is, it is essentially a freestyle competition for both skiers and snowboarders held on a small, closed compact course. The whole event will be between Jabs Hall and the Rendezvous Dining Pavilion. Snow Bro will be building the area for the rail jam, and there will be other entertainment throughout the night to go along with the rail jam.
Montana State University will also have an ice carving exhibition, yard games, food trucks, a selfie booth, sponsor tables, and more. That makes this rail jam a full evening event you won't want to miss. The best part, the event is FREE to attend.
Bozeman is no stranger to rail jams. We used to be a part of a great rail jam called the Chamberlin Rail Jam. There were tricks, music, and good times. I am so happy to see Montana State University bring back an event like a rail jam, and I bet this will be a huge hit with not only the students but with the community as well.
If you would like to sign up for the rail jam, please contact Montana State Rail Jam as soon as possible.
See you all on Saturday, February 5th.
