Looking for a part-time job for some extra dough, but also want to do something fun? This might be right up your alley. Montana State University is hiring stagehands for the following concerts & shows:

Bob Seger Concert, September 17th

Load in for this show will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to take 6-8 hours. Call back for load out is at 10:30 p.m. and is expected to take about 5 hours. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR BOTH OF THESE SHIFTS to work this show.

Broadway Musical: We Will Rock You, September 25th.

There will be an 8 a.m. load in for this show and a 9:30 p.m. load out.


You can work one show or both. Please keep in mind, working these shows does *NOT* mean that you get to see the show. This is a fun, fast paced and unique opportunity to earn some extra cash and see behind the scenes of a major production.

Pay is $14 an hour. You will be paid via check four business days after the event. Please check your schedule and respond ASAP if you wish to be considered for this position. If you do a good job here will be future opportunities to work concerts and plays at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

Job Description as follows:

- Assist in the assembly and tear down of show productions.
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Assembling production equipment on stage
- Construction of set pieces, risers, musical equipment
- Assist with video, sound and light production before, during and after shows
- Move furniture, road cases, miscellaneous equipment

- 18 years of age or older
- Physically labor intensive, must be able to lift 50lbs
- Capable of following instructions and work well with others
- Tolerant of working outside in Montana during winter
- Technically minded/knowledge of show production a plus

- $14.00 per hour with a 4 hour minimum call
- We will issue a check 4 business days after our shows.
