
Montana Is Getting Ready For St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations
Saint Patrick’s Day is just a couple of days away, but there are already some celebrations happening around Montana this weekend if you want to get a head start on the festivities.

If you are in the Bozeman area, one option is the Run to the Pub weekend kickoff happening Saturday, March 14. Tune Up Bar & Lounge will open early with live music throughout the evening. The band Storm Castle performs from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by Saint of Soldiers from 9 to 11 p.m. It is a fun way to ease into the holiday with music and a lively crowd.
Over in Billings, the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celtic Fair will fill downtown with plenty of green. The long-running tradition kicks off at 10 a.m. on March 14 and includes a parade, live music, food vendors, and activities for families.
And of course, we cannot talk about St. Patrick’s Day in Montana without mentioning Butte. The city has deep Irish roots dating back to its mining boom, when thousands of Irish immigrants moved to the area. Even today, a large portion of the population traces its heritage back to Ireland. It is one of the reasons Butte proudly calls itself "most Irish place in the U.S."! The parade is happening on St. Patrick's Day, and the it starts at 12 pm sharp!
