There are some odd Montana laws, but this might be the oddest.

Apparently, if you start performing on stage, you are committing to finish that performance on stage. You can't abandon it mid-song.
Don't believe me? There was a 1991 court case dealing with this.
So, in case you are ever at a concert, festival, or performance in Montana and the act tries to bail, let them know they can be sued.
