Montana is home to some interesting history.

From all of the different ghost towns to the battle grounds, to the abandoned mines, Montana has seen a whole lot over the years, and that includes events that bring thousands out to not only be entertained, but do a little socializing in the process.

We all know that Rodeo is a big deal here in Big Sky Country. I'm not sure the exact number, but according to Google, it's over 100 each year.

Of course, rodeo isn't the only event.  There are Pow Wows and County and State Fairs. Not to mention all of the live music and concerts that take place, however, some Montana events are a little weirder than others.

Montana is home to many festivals during the year. Things like the Folk Festival in Butte are always a big hit, as well as the Butte St. Patrick's Day Parade. Then there's the Whitefish Winter Festival, the Huckleberry Festival in Trout Creek, and the Polson Mainstreet Flathead Cherry Festival.

Then there are the festivals that are a little less traditional.

Each year, one of the Fraternities at MSU in Bozeman puts on the Testy Fest. Yep, you read that right. A festival celebrating testicles, well, bull testicles. The fundraiser is always a popular event with live music and good eats. It's been said that everyone who attends has a ball.

If Rocky Mountain Oysters aren't your thing, you can always attend the Western Montana Beard and Mustache Competition in Missoula. It's not only a place for hairy men to unite, but the ladies are also welcome to attend.

Cabin Fever Days in Martin City is a popular event that happens each winter. While there is much to do, the big crowd pleasers are the bar stool races that take place.
