As a foodie, I'm all about different types of cuisine. I've never met a burger that I didn't like, and I've had some of my best meals right here in Montana.

Montana is a culinary melting pot. We're home to a lot of Irish and English influence, but we also have the oldest Chinese Restaurant in the country. Consider that we are one of the leading states when it comes to Angus Beef, and Big Sky Country has plenty of options.

Growing up in the South, one of the big favorites was "comfort food". Dishes like fried chicken, mac and cheese, and barbeque were comfort food staples.

Oh, and not only is it chicken fried steak, but it's chicken fried steak covered in cream gravy. Listen, cream gravy makes anything taste better, but I'm a little surprised that Montana picked this as their favorite. I mean, I get it...beef, it's what's for dinner, and I'm certainly not going to turn down a plate of chicken fried steak drowned in cream gravy.
