When you ask local Montanans what they think the state needs, you'll get lots of different answers. Some will be sincere, while others will not be so much.

Common answers include Chick-fil-A, Trader Joe's, In-N-Out, Dunkin' Donuts, and several other national retailers. However, one of the most popular answers tends to be something for kids and or the family to do.

Now, don't get me wrong, Montana has a TON of outdoor adventures to partake in. It doesn't matter the season, we have lots of trails to hike, slopes to ski, rivers to fish, and National and State Parks to enjoy, but what if you're looking for something different? What if you're thinking of something a little less nature-oriented and more commercial?

Well, that might be a bit more difficult to find.

For those who are thinking about adventure outdoors, that doesn't relate to hiking or things like that, there is Silverwood Theme Park over in Idaho, but depending on where you are in Big Sky Country, that could be a day's drive or more. Down in Utah, they have Lagoon Amusement Park, but once again, for many, that's a long drive.

For those thrill-seekers looking for the twists and turns of rollercoasters, unfortunately, you don't have any local options, but different places around the state offer popular things like mini-golf, go-karts, batting cages, arcade-style games, etc.

One of those is located near Glacier National Park, and just north of Coram. The Amazing Fun Center offers several different adventures for families to enjoy, whether they're locals or just visiting the state.

The Amazing Fun Center offers North America's first-ever human-sized wooden maze, an 18-hole mini golf course, bumper boats, and go-karts.
