Reddit user PurpleCornCob shared a rather frightening story on the Bozeman Reddit page. According to the Reddit post, this person was nearly run over by a man in a black SUV playing loud clown music. The vehicle reportedly didn't have license plates, either.

In Belgrade, near Jackrabbit and the middle school. Dude was blaring little kid/clown music, like the kind of stuff from Barney.

said PurpleCornCob on Reddit.

I was walking outside, when I saw the car come around the corner. Everything seemed normal at first, but then he hit the gas and blew through an intersection at a high speed (for the area). He barely swerved before he hit me.

The exact date that the incident happened was not included, but the story was shared on the Bozeman Reddit page over the weekend. The person allegedly called the police, but they didn't seem surprised when they were told about the man blaring clown music from his vehicle. We reached out to PurpleCornCob for more details about the incident but did not receive a response.

One person that commented said that they heard about a similar incident near Hyalite last summer.

Last spring I heard about a black car with no plates up in hyalite that was being driven by a guy walking around with an axe and zip ties.

It is unclear whether the two incidents are related.

As a person that has a lifelong fear of clowns, the story definitely gives me anxiety. There's already enough craziness in the world; we definitely don't need people driving around blaring clown music.
