Koko The Gorilla Has Passed Away In Her Sleep At Age 46

Aw, Koko The Gorilla was my age. I didn't even realize. However, I have heard of her all my life (as maybe you have as well), this amazing Gorilla that could communicate with sign language. Last year, my husband and I watched a great documentary about her life on Netflix.

She counted many celebrities as her friend (Betty White (who tweeted about the loss)), and Robin Williams), but she could never have known "class separation" or any reason why she could have been called "lucky" to have met these people. RIP Koko The Gorilla. : (
