Kip Moore Keeps His ‘Truck’ Parked at No. 1 for a Second Consecutive Week
What’s better than having your very first No. 1 single as a singer and a songwriter? How about spending two solid weeks at the top of the charts? Well, that’s exactly what Kip Moore is experiencing this week, as ‘Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck’ claims the top slot once again on both the Billboard and Mediabase / Country Aircheck country singles charts.
The tune is the first release from Moore’s new album ‘Up All Night,’ which hit stores last month. The red-hot single helped land the album in the No. 3 position on Billboard’s Country Albums chart just a week after hitting shelves.
However, the single continued to sell by the masses following the album’s release. Just a few weeks ago, ‘Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck’ was certified gold for digital sales of a single exceeding 500,000 downloads. Not bad for your second song ever to hit the country radio airwaves!
Rounding out the rest of the Top 5 on both charts this week are Zac Brown Band with their latest hit ‘No Hurry,’ Carrie Underwood with ‘Good Girl,’ Eric Chuch‘s summertime groove ‘Springsteen’ and Luke Bryan‘s ‘Drunk on You.’
