Kenny Rogers Cancels Concerts Due to Illness
Due to an untimely bout of sickness, Kenny Rogers has canceled his Valentine's Day performances with the Nashville Symphony, scheduled for this weekend.
Instead of 'The Gambler' hitmaker headlining the Valentine's event at Schermerhorn Symphony Center, fellow country star and five-time Grammy winner Wynonna Judd will step in for the two dates on Feb. 14 and 15.
Although Rogers won't be gracing the stage with his more than 50 years of experience, Judd will certainly rise to the occasion, serenading sweethearts during the romantic holiday weekend with her best hits and some romantic standards.
Tickets previously purchased for Rogers’ show will be honored for Judd’s concert. But if ticket holders had their hearts set on seeing the 75-year-old country icon, they'll be a little brokenhearted. There are, however, other events tickets can be exchanged for.
Tickets to see Judd with the Nashville Symphony are available at NashvilleSymphony.org, or the Schermerhorn Symphony Center box office.
