Something that's not a secret, today's country music is very male heavy. However, Kelsea Ballerini is a shining light for female country artists.

When you think of today's most popular female country artists, there are really only two that come to mind: Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert. However, newcomer Kelsea Ballerini is taking country music by storm.

Kelsea Ballerini's first two singles, "Love Me Like You Mean It" and "Dibs" were both #1 songs in country music. That may not sound like a big deal, but it is something not even Carrie, Miranda, or Taylor Swift accomplished.
