It's a great time to be a Bobcat!  The Montana State men's basketball team were crowned Big Sky Conference champions following their impressive win over Northern Colorado 87-66 on Saturday. The Montana State women's basketball team also claimed the Big Sky Conference title after defeating Northern Arizona 75-64 on Friday.

Now, both teams are heading to the big dance. The Montana State men's basketball team got a #14 seed in the West Region of the NCAA Tournament and will face third-seeded Texas Tech on Friday, March 18 in San Diego. The tip-off is at 11:45 a.m. If you want to watch the game, it will be televised nationally on TNT. You can also listen to the game on 1450 KMMS-AM. It's the Bobcat's first trip to the NCAA Tournament since the 1995-96 season.

The Montana State women's team received a #16 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will face a tough challenge against #1 seed and defending National Champion Standford on Friday, March 18. The tip-off is at 8:00 p.m. If you want to watch the Montana State women on Friday, you can watch the game on ESPN 2. You can also listen to the game on 1450 KMMS-AM.

Both teams hope to make a statement in this year's NCAA Tournament, but the odds are stacked against them. There are a lot of really good teams in the tournament this year, but we're rooting for our Bobcats!
