Haunted Montana? The Most Haunted Places Under The Big Sky.
When it comes to talking about things being haunted, some folks simply don't believe in any of that. I am not one of those people; I've seen a few things in my life that absolutely make me a believer in ghosts.
In fact, some of these experiences happened when I worked at a radio station that used to be an old bank.
The old vault had been turned into a conference room and on more than one occasion, I watched as some sort of dark figure entered the vault. I'll admit, I was a little taken back the first couple of times, but whatever it was, it didn't do me harm, so I let it go.
So when it comes to Montana, where are some of the most haunted places? Well, that seems to depend on who you ask.
Haunted In Hamilton
According to insider.com, the most haunted building in Montana is the Daly Mansion over in Hamilton. I've been to the Daly Mansion a few times, and other than a few loud tourists, I've never seen anything that would make me think it was haunted. However, there have been reports of things being "misplaced" over the years.
The Ghosts Of Deer Lodge
The old prison in Deer Lodge is also known for being haunted. The prison, which shut down in the late '70s, saw many of Montana's most vile humans within its walls. According to hauntedrooms.com, the former inmate known as "Turkey Pete" is considered to be one of the most well-known ghosts in the prison.
