What is the most popular Halloween candy in the Country?

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups once again wear the candy crown. Honestly, name a better duo than chocolate and peanut butter. I'll wait. While the country collectively cheers for Reese's, M&M's is not too far in the number two spot.

America's Favorite Halloween Candy By State

Here in Montana, we've got our own opinions when it comes to the sweet stuff. I figured Montana would have some type of chocolate topping the charts, but no we're officially Team Red Vines. And get this: the old-school goodies are having a comeback moment. Baby Bottle Pops rose from the grave with sales up 641%, Dum-Dums doubled, and even Strawberry Bon Bons (up over 600%). I would classify the Bon Bons one of those candies that you would find in every Montana grandma's crystal dish by the front door.

Other weird trick-or-treat candy comebacks..

Even raisins made a weird comeback. Yes, raisins. Apparently, they're the dark horse of Halloween, with sales jumping 522%. Somewhere, a trick-or-treater just cried.

So, whether you're stocking up for trick-or-treaters or "just getting ahead of the rush," the message is clear: RED VINES are what the people want in Montana. Hopefully that helps narrow down your choice when you're staring at the candy aisle.
