FWP Wants Your Comments On Madison River Recreation
Over the past year the Madison River Citizen Advisory Committee (MCAC) has been going over ways to make the Madison River a better experience for everyone. After taking in all the recommendations from the committee and Public they are ready to implement their plan.
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks welcomes the public to comment on the recommendations made by MCAC towards FWP’s development of a draft recreation management plan for the Madison River.
Endorsed by the FWP Commission at its meeting on May 9, these recommendations address issues on the Madison as a whole, as well as concerns specific to certain sections of the river and individual fishing access sites. The MCAC took into account all interested parties (i.e. anglers, guides, floaters, etc.) and their desired conditions for the river going forward.

Comments on the Madison River Recreation Management can be submitted on the webpage listed above, or sent via email to mrrp@mt.gov. All comments must be received by June 21, 2013.
