Fire Crew Responds to Partial Roof Collapse at MSU Gym

The following is based on information from the Bozeman Fire Department:

Shortly after 2:20 a.m., Thursday morning, Bozeman Fire was dispatched to Montana State University, specifically the South Gym at the Marga Hosaeus Fitness Center.

Upon arrival, the fire crew saw that a partial roof collapse had occurred on the backside of an unoccupied gym area.
According to fire officials, "there was no fire or smoke found but rather a significant amount of steam from the buildings broken heating pipes."

No injuries were reported at the scene.
Investigators will return to the scene, Thursday, in an attempt to determine the cause of the collapse.
The Marga Hosaeus Fitness Center is closed and students are being instructed to avoid the area until further notice.
