Come to this year’s annual Butte Mineral & Gem Club Mineral Show at the Butte Civic Center!

This year, our highlight feature exhibit is a collection of mosaic mineral art done by Helena artist Russ Ratcliff. These photographs are created by Mr. Ratcliff piecing together various cut stones together like a puzzle to create these unique masterpieces.

Our show will also feature displays of rocks, minerals, and artifacts from around the world. Cases will demonstrate some of the personal collections of local rockhounds, artists, club members, and dealers.

Attending dealers will be selling mineral specimens, fine jewelry, gemstones, fossils, equipment, and rough slabs for lapidary. Missing a stone in that old ring that you need a match for? Bring it in and see our dealers!

During the show, the annual silent auction will also be held providing guests the opportunity to purchase minerals and rocks for cheap throughout the show. Have kids? Bring the little ones to our show as we will also be having a dedicated children area where they can discover minerals of their own and receive a free quartz crystal / tumbled stone (while supplies last).

Do you have a rock that needs to be identified? Are you looking to discover the life of a rockhound? Trying to find a family activity to do with your kids? During the show, we will have many of our local club members attending and assisting with the show. Some of our members have decades of rockhounding experience, expertise, and advise waiting to be passed on to the next upcoming rockhound! We will also be accepting new member sign ups during the show.

Admission to our show this year is $3 and children under 12 years of age get in FREE.
