Don't Want Your Packages Stolen? Bozeman PD Has Some Tips

With more folks ordering gifts online there has been a rise in people getting their packages stolen off of their doorsteps in recent years and the Bozeman Police want to help deter this.

The Bozeman Police came up with some tips and strategies on how to keep your packages safe this holiday season. This includes:

Team up with a neighbor, sometimes the best strategy is working together.
Have packages delivered to work, genius idea.
Leave special delivery instructions, maybe there is a place they could put your package that no one can see in plain view.
Sign up for delivery alerts, this is a great choice.
Have packages delivered to a "mailbox" store, then you can pick them up when you can.
Purchase a lockable package delivery box, good choice unless you have a big package that won't fit.

These are all great ways to keep your packages same this holiday season.
