Doctor Serves Up First Lab-Grown Hamburger Meat [VIDEO]

We do not yet have hover boards or commercial space travel as science fiction promised, but we are one step closer now that we have lab grown meat!

Doctor Mark Post has revealed his lab grown burger that was created from muscle stem cells from a cow that he grew in a serum and bound with egg and bread crumbs.

Dr. Post revealed the burger at an event in London. Taste testers of the beef say it tasted like meat and that the texture was that of a conventional hamburger. Dr. Post had been working towards this final product since 2008 and he believes it won't be for another 10 to 20 years when cultured meat will be mass-produced.
