Julianne Hough's video for "Is That So Wrong" was banned from CMT shortly after being released. What could cause such an uproar? I decided to meticulously watch the video over and over and over and...well, you get the point. The only difference I can see from Houghs and her peers Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith (Who's Your Daddy?) is that she is a much better dancer. Video inside.

I think CMT shot themselves in the foot on this one. The video has made hundreds if not thousands of headlines because of the ban and none of that traffic will be going to CMT or cmt.com. Also, it's almost like they are reprimanding Julianne for being a talented dancer. I've seen ball room dancers wearing just as little clothing and performing the same maneuvers. I completely support CMT's persona of upholding good family values and beliefs, but I can't help but feel they are forcing the women of Country Music to remain docile and innocent in spite of who they actually are; which in Julianne Hough's situation is a very strong female and talented dancer.
