Did Shaun White Disrespect the Flag? Please Take our Poll

After winning a gold medal in the men's halfpipe at the Winter Olympics this week, snowboarder Shaun White, following his medal-winning performance, allowed the American flag that he was handed to touch the ground.

In his defense, White said he didn't even remember someone handing him the flag, and that he certainly didn't mean to disrespect the flag. I have to side with White on this one. The guy just won a gold medal, his emotions are all over the place, and then someone hands him a flag to hold while he's trying to deal with his gloves and board.
