Dave’s Kayak Adventure @ Hyalite

I've always wanted to kayak, and this Saturday I got the opportunity to scratch off another line on my personal bucket list. I want to extend a big thanks to my friend Bernie at Kenyon Noble, who took me on my first kayak adventure at Hyalite Reservoir.

I can't believe I'm 51 and this was my first time. It made me think of all the other things in my life that I've missed out on, but I've still got some time, right? Although it's probably too late for me to be the starting shortstop for the L.A. Angels.

Here's some pics we took while out on the water. I've already started looking for my own kayak, and I can't wait to get Sweet Baby James out there with me. Saturday was my first time kayaking, but certainly not my last. I can't wait to do it again!
