One factor you can control, at least according to a new study, is where you live. Apparently, your odds of finding a match may improve depending on the state you call home.

A recent report from WalletHub compared all 50 states to determine which are the most dating friendly. Researchers looked at 29 different data points. These included the percentage of single adults, job prospects for singles, cost of living, and the number of restaurants and entertainment options per person. The idea is simple. Affordable living can make going out easier, while states packed with attractions may offer more unique date ideas. It is also a numbers game. More single people can mean better chances.

Is Montana A Good State For Singles?
So where did Montana land? The Treasure State ranked 37th overall. It came in 44th for dating opportunities, 9th for dating affordability, and 25th for romance and entertainment.
Florida claimed the top spot overall, thanks to its high number of theme parks, dining options, and overall entertainment.

Personally, Florida is not somewhere I would want to stay long term. If you are searching for the right person, maybe the better strategy is staying right here. After all, why not find someone who already loves Montana as much as you do?
