Montana’s Number One Conspiracy Theory
I'm not sure about you, but I love a good conspiracy theory.
Who shot JFK? What's going on at Area 51? Did we go to the Moon? There are several to choose from. Of course, what makes a great conspiracy theory is a little crazy mixed with a little truth. Does Big Brother listen to everything we do? How is it that we can talk about something, and then it pops up on our phone a few minutes later?
Here in Montana, there are plenty of folks who will strap on the tin foil hat from time to time, but which conspiracy is the most popular in Big Sky Country? Bigfoot? The Flathead Monster? Epstein didn't kill himself?

According to Hello Millions, an online gaming site, the most popular conspiracy theory in Montana is something folks have been talking about for years.
So, what do you know about "chemtrails"? Chemtrails is the conspiracy that dangerous chemicals are being spread into the atmosphere by aircraft. Now, Montana is Big Sky Country, which means when you look up and see all kinds of trails of white smoke, you might think to yourself, huh, I wonder what that is.
Oh, and Montana isn't the only state where chemtrails are a big deal. It's also the number one conspiracy in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.
Who is behind chemtrails? Well, the theory is that it's the government trying to control us. They release these chemicals into the atmosphere, they float down to us, we absorb them, and they then alter our moods.
I will admit, it certainly isn't the craziest thing I've heard; in fact, most of the big conspiracy theories out there deal with mistrust of the government, big companies, or those in power.
