Over the last year or so, we've heard a lot about Red States and Blue States.

Here in Montana, we're all familiar with the fact that many folks are moving here from out of state. Many locals and non-locals feel that Montana is in decline and the reason for that is all of these folks moving here trying to change how things are done.
Now, I don't know if that's true or not, but often perception is the reality and when it comes to a state and its residents that seem to get under Montanan's skin, the answer is pretty clear.
I was recently looking at map that went into depth of all 50 states. The map made it pretty clear as to what states were the most disliked. Each state featured the name of the state they couldn't stand and let's just say that Montanans aren't alone in their feelings.
Which state do Montanans dislike the most?
If you guessed California, you were right. However, Montana isn't the only state that chose California as the state they hate the most. So did almost all of our surrounding neighbors as well as some states a little further away.
Montana, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming all picked California as the state they didn't like.
Why such hate for the Golden State? I'd guess that much like Montana, the states mentioned have seen their share of folks moving to their state from California. Now, let's be honest, not all Californians are bad. In fact, maybe none of them are bad, they're just different. Different values, different beliefs, different politics, etc.
However, if I were a betting man, I would guess the residents of the "I Hate California Club" have the same issues as those of us here. Stop moving to new places and trying to make it like it was where you came from.
