Due to a lack of snow, opening day at Bridger Bowl was delayed this year. While the ski season will get off to a later start than normal this year, it's not the first time skiers and riders have had to wait to hit the slopes at Bridger Bowl. Good news! You don't have to wait much longer.

Bridger Bowl has announced a limited opening for Thursday, December 17. Lifts running opening day will be all beginner area lifts, Sunnyside, Virginia City, and Bridger to Midway. Face coverings will be required inside all of the lodges, in lift lines, and while loading and unloading chairlifts. Food and beverage will be available in the Jim Bridger Lodge and Deer Park Chalet.

If you have not received your pass, you can make a reservation by logging into your account. If you have purchased a season pass, you can pick up your pass on your first day of skiing at the ticket window.

No uphill travel will be permitted starting Wednesday, December 16th at midnight for the remainder of the season. For safety please respect this closure, there are no exceptions.

This year, reservations will be required for both season pass holders and day ticket purchasers. All pass holders and ticket purchasers must make an account at bridgerbowl.com and must sign a waiver. For more information on reservations, click here.

Reservations will open the afternoon of Tuesday, December 15th for Thursday and Friday, and will be limited due to current skiable acreage.

Here's what to expect this season at Bridger Bowl.
