Halloween in Bozeman looks like it could be a part of a Hallmark movie scene, and there is no shortage of festivities in town for the spookiest holiday of the year. Whether you’re the parent of a sugar-fueled mini vampire or just someone who loves seeing the community decked out in costumes, Bozeman knows how to do Halloween right. Here are three of the best places to take your little ghosts and goblins trick-or-treating this year.

1. Downtown Bozeman Trick-or-Treating (4–6 PM)
Downtown turns into a candy lover’s paradise with over 100 businesses ready to hand out treats. From Main Street to side alleys, you’ll find everything from classic chocolate to the occasional toothbrush (we all know that one business). It’s free, it’s fun, and it happens no matter what the Montana weather throws at us... rain, snow, or that weird 70-degree heat wave that sometimes sneaks in.

2. Bozeman Health Trick-or-Treat (3–5 PM)
If you’re not into the unpredictable weather, head indoors to Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center. Start at Entrance 4, park in Lot C, and let the kids make their candy rounds while you enjoy the warmth and friendly smiles. It’s a cozy, safe option for families with younger kiddos or anyone who prefers not to battle the October chill.

3. Gallatin Valley Mall’s Malloween (4–6 PM)
Mall + Halloween = Malloween, and it’s every bit as fun as it sounds. The mall does not have it on their calendar yet, but I did call and confirm MALLOWEEN 2025 is greenlit. Kids can go store-to-store collecting goodies, and there’s even a free photo booth for that perfect “we tried” family costume pic.
