It was recently announced that the city of Bozeman will be putting up stop signs at over 300 intersections around town for a total of more than 400 new stop signs. Why? Well, because as mentioned above, the town is growing and traffic is a problem according to the city.

What's the timeline for the new stop signs in Bozeman?

So, how long does a project like this take? According to NBC Montana, who talked with city officials they will start adding the new stop signs this May and will wrap it up in 2030.

Officials say they will starting adding the new signs around the University area.

I think it's a good thing that the city is being pro-active. Bozeman is growing and while the pace might have slowed down a little, people are still moving here and the city is expanding. Not to mention that there are some pretty big projects on the horizon.
